Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation
Our attorneys have extensive experience in personal injury cases, including auto, truck, and motorcycle accidents, slip and fall accidents, products liability, negligence and liquor liability. Our attorneys regularly advocate for injured workers requiring just compensation, reinstatement, reasonable accommodations or lost wages from workplace accidents.
In addition to handling standard workers’ compensation cases, our firm has considerable experience representing shipyard and harbor workers seeking workers’ compensation benefits through the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA). We also handle workers’ compensation claims under the Defense Base Act, (DBA) for civilian workers who have sustained a work-related injury on a defense base or related site.
Employment Law and Social Security Disability
The employee rights attorneys at our firm represent employees who have suffered workplace discrimination, harassment and wrongful discharge. Our lawyers work to protect the rights of people who have a physical or mental disability as well.
The attorneys at Reben, Benjamin & March also represent clients with Social Security disability appeals. We assist clients seeking Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). We handle claims against insurance providers when individuals have claims and the provider refuses to pay health or disability benefits pursuant to a client’s plan documents or insurance policy.
