Andrew T. Mason joined Reben, Benjamin & March in August 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mason served as the Kennebec County Superior Court law clerk. Mr. Mason brings to the firm a long history of providing compassionate service to a variety of disabled and neglected citizens. This experience has taught Mr. Mason the necessity of providing tireless and bold advocacy on behalf of his clients, as well as the value of finding practical solutions to complex problems.

Mr. Mason received his JD magna cum laude from Vermont Law School in 2006, where he was also a member of the Vermont Law Review. During the summer of 2005, Mr. Mason served as a law clerk on the United States Senate Judiciary Committee for the ranking Democrat, Senator Patrick Leahy. During law school Mr. Mason also clerked for the Honorable Jerome J. Niedermeier, Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court, Burlington, Vermont. Prior to law school, Mr. Mason spent 10 years working as a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist teaching independent travel skills to blind and visually impaired children and adults. From 2000-2003, Mr. Mason volunteered as a guardian ad litem and was responsible for investigating claims of abuse or neglect involving children, as well as monitoring families and their compliance with any court-ordered treatment plan. Mr. Mason was also a Certified Social Studies Teacher from 1991-2003. Mr. Mason graduated from Western Michigan University in 1991 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and in 1993 with a Master's degree in Blind Rehabilitation.

Mr. Mason is admitted to the bar in the State of Maine and the United States District Court for the District of Maine.

Mr. Mason was elected to the Topsham Board of Selectment, November 2010.

He lives in Topsham with his wife, Michelle, and his daughter, Sydney.
